Les épisodes perdus

Introduction

97, c’est le nombre d’épisodes manquants de la première série sur un total de 694. Ce chiffre peut paraître énorme, mais depuis ces 45 dernières années, il n’a pas cessé de diminuer, et comparé à d’autres séries BBC de la même époque, nous pouvons nous estimer très heureux que le nombre soit si bas. S’il est facile de comprendre qu’il manque des épisodes, il est en revanche plus difficile de comprendre pourquoi. Manque de place, contrat, règles syndicales, nous allons essayer de vous expliquer pourquoi nous ne pouvons toujours pas voir l’intégralité de la première série.
